Calvary Church is a local congregation of believers who take responsibility for their own governance. We are dedicated to spreading the love and teachings of Jesus Christ in our community.

About Us
For many years we were affiliated with the Mennonite Church in Eastern Canada. However, this association of churches decided to take the church in a direction we did not feel followed the scriptures. Rather than create any upheaval we decided it best to strike out on our own.
Therefore, a few short years ago we took our church Independent so that we could follow the scriptures and not create any unnecessary tension because we did not feel to depart from what we believed to be the Word of God. Having done so, we simply legally revised our name to "Calvary Church". In reflection it may have been better to have gone with a completely new name,
but, it is what it is.
